.. finalized the design of the USB Type-C plug, a new type of USB connector designed to replace all current USB connectors.

Similar to Apple’s Lightning cables, the new connector is reversible so that it can be used in any orientation, with the additional bonus that the plugs on both sides of the cable is identical.
